Wherever you are on your spiritual journey, in this church you are accepted, respected, and dearly loved.
A Warm Welcome
Our church is a Christian denomination based on the Bible and the works and teachings of Jesus Christ.
Mary Baker Eddy founded the Christian Science Church in 1879 in Boston, MA. Her purpose, as she states in the Church Manual was “To organize a church designed to commemorate the word and works of our Master [Jesus Christ], which should reinstate primitive Christianity and its lost element of healing.” Since the founding of the Mother Church of Boston, this church has expanded into many branch churches worldwide, all with the same purpose: to help people spiritually understand their relationship to God and illuminate the Divine Laws of God’s Love which embrace us all. This provides peace, happiness and healing and brings an all-powerful Love to our communities. Mrs. Eddy’s textbook Science and Health with key to the Scriptures, along with the Holy Bible, are our spiritual guides, mentors and pastor.
Our services consist of hymn singing, praying and listening to a lesson sermon of readings from the Holy Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy.

Believe
Christian Scientists believe in one infinite God who is all in all, and all good. We believe that God is not distant and unknowable, but is all-encompassing and always present, and that each individual is loved and cared for by Him, and made in His image — spiritual, not material.
Christian Scientists believe in the Bible, and in Christ Jesus as the Son of God, or promised Messiah. We believe that Jesus’ teachings and healing work expressed scientific Christianity — the application of the laws of God — laws that are still practical and provable today. Christian Scientists consider the Ten Commandments and Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount to be central to their lives and their practice of Christianity.
Above all, Christian Scientists believe in the healing power of God’s love, that no one is beyond redemption and no problem is too entrenched or overwhelming to be resolved. In other words, Christian Scientists don’t believe that salvation occurs at some point in the future, but that the presence of God’s goodness can be experienced here and now — and by everyone.
In 1879, Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer of Christian Science, founded the Church of Christ, Scientist. Her purpose was to establish a church designed, “to commemorate the word and works of our Master, which should reinstate primitive Christianity and its lost element of healing.” (Church Manual of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts)
This church is of one of the worldwide branches of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts.
