ABOUT
This talk
The challenging problems we face today demand a fresh approach to solutions. We can’t afford to overlook the needed component of spirituality to make real progress on the issues that confront our lives and well-being.
Practitioner of Christian Science healing and international speaker, Michelle Nanouche, says,
“Through honest talk about the questions people ask, I give a one hour lecture that tackles the essentials of Christian Science – its unique value as a system of healing, its practical Christianity, and its broader contribution to solving individual and societal problems today.”
The lecture will explore a variety of questions, including: “Why is it that genuine healing involves more than purely physical factors based on a patient’s biology and genetic make-up?” “What does Christian Science offer beyond positive thinking or faith healing?” “How is Christian Science both spiritual and scientific?”
Nanouche’s responses are based on the works and teachings of Jesus as recorded in the Bible, and as discussed in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures written by Mary Baker Eddy, the founder of the Christian Science movement. Nanouche will also offer compelling examples – including the healing of a severe leg injury – from her professional practice of healing to illustrate elements of Christian Science treatment.
Michelle Nanouche trained and practiced as a Christian Science Nurse for 10 years before changing her focus from nursing care to the practice of Christian Science healing through prayer. She brings over 30 years of professional healing experience to her current roles of practitioner, teacher and lecturer of Christian Science. She lectures on the connection between prayer and health throughout the US and in Africa and Europe. For several years, Nanouche was also the official contact person for information on Christian Science to public authorities, lawmakers, and media in the state of New Jersey, USA.
Michelle Nanouche is a member of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship. She travels from her home in Paris, France, and is available to lecture in French and English.
ABOUT
Our Speaker, Michelle Nanouche, CSB:
Spirituality and the practice of prayer isn’t a lifestyle choice for Michelle; it is basic to who she is. Her family was introduced to Christian Science through her dad’s healing of acute depression. She was exposed to the idea that God heals sickness from an early age. At twelve, Michelle prayed to God to heal a foot wound. The quick healing fanned her interest in all things relating to God. In her last year of high school she took evening training to be a Christian Science nurse’s aide. Right after graduation, she pursued training for the healing ministry of Christian Science nursing.Nine years as a Christian Science nurse provided her with loads of experience in healing through spiritual means. By the time Michelle opened her first public office as a Christian Science practitioner in 1989, she had witnessed a great number of healings through prayer. From personal experience, she can share accounts of healings of broken bones, tumors, pneumonia, eating disorders, heart disease, mental and emotional disorders, financial difficulties and more. She has observed in the practice of Christian Science that following the example and teachings of Christ Jesus heals quickly and effectively. Mary Baker Eddy’s Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures unlocks the treasure trove of the Bible explaining the science of the Christ that heals.
